Here's the lowdown on indoor climbing activities and what you need to know.

If you have no or limited experience of climbing activities read our Indoor Climbing 101
Parties are suitable for both children and adults
Parties are supervised by trained staff who have been DBS checked
All instructors are fully trained and are paid the Real Living Wage
We have a number of First Aiders on-site at all times

All party participants will need to register with us before climbing. U18's will need their parents to complete their registration.

WHAT TO WEAR?

Loose-fitting clothing

If you have a questions or concern on the day, your point of contact is either the Duty Manager or Senior Instructor

CHILDREN IN THE CENTRE

If you've not been to Highball before you may be surprised to find that most customers in the centre are adults and they will be falling off the climbing walls a lot. We don't want an adult falling on a young child so we expect all children to be supervised when in the centre, whether they are climbing or not.

If you bring your children along who are not included in the party, it is your responsibility to keep them safe; keep them with you at all times and do not allow them to run around on and off the mats and put themselves in danger.

Our instructors will supervise all participants during the activity however, before and after the party, it is the responsibility of the Party Organiser and Parents to supervise their children, specifically.

Supervise them when going to the toilets

On rare occasions, we have had to ask party groups to leave early due to poor supervision of children. In these instances, refunds will not be given.

REGISTRATION

Anyone using our centre must register before participating. Registration includes reading and agreeing to our Conditions of Use and accepting The Risks.

All participants must register before attending a party unless they have done so within the last 2 years. Parents will need to complete the registration forms for their children.
