Can I book multiple sessions in advance?

Yes, you can. Sessions are available to book 5 days in advance.

Do I have to wear a mask/face covering?

Yes, face coverings are mandatory when in the centre unless you are having a quick drink or bite to eat, or
are using the Strength and Conditioning Area (where it is optional but recommended).
Note: Children age 6 to 9 do not need to wear a mask.

Can I book for multiple people?

Yes, as long as you use the centre in line with the current government Covid guidelines.
Note: these guidelines may change depending on what tier we are in e.g. in tier 2 you must not socialize with people outside your household/bubble.

Can I book multiple sessions for 1 day?

No, we ask everyone to only book 1 session per day.
If you're looking at climbing for longer our daytime sessions are the longest sessions available

Can I bring/supervise novice guests?

Yes, as long as your guest is from the same household/bubble (updated: 2 December). If they are not from the same household/bubble and aged 18+, they will need to either attend a bouldering induction or, watch a safety briefing video before registering to climb unsupervised.
Competent climbers can supervise guests on a 1:2 basis - under 8s's must be supervised on a 1:1 basis.

I don't want to climb but I have registered to supervise my child, how do I book?

Non-Climbing Supervisors can supervise for free weekdays before 6pm, you still need to book yourself a slot on that session too.
Book your child on an Open Session, and book yourself as a member. You will need to check-in/out and follow all the measures while on site.
If you want to supervise outside of these times, you will need to book and pay the standard PAYG price.

You need to book yourself a space either way, due to us working at a capacity and knowing you have been within the building if Track and Trace contact us.

I climbed with supervision before lockdown but my 'supervisor' is from another household, can I still come and climb?

Yes, but you will need to watch a safety briefing video and register for unsupervised climbing. This will mean you can climb independently without the need to be supervised.

Can I bring friends/family to spectate while I climb?

Unfortunately not. Due to capacity limits, only those who have booked and paid to climb can be within the building.

Can I hire climbing shoes?

Yes, you book and pay for your hire shoes online when you book. They are £3 Adults / £2 Junior U14 and you collect them after you check-in.

Can I use powder chalk?

Yes - but please use it appropriately/sensibly to help reduce dust in the centre.

Will the cafe and shop be open?

Yes. You will be able to access the cafe and shop before your climbing session. You will also be able to use the same entrance to come to reception before your climbing session to update any expired registrations, replace lost barcode key fobs, or activate the RGPro Connect App.

Please bring a water bottle (full of water) as the water fountain is out of use. Don't forget to take your bottle home as well!

Is the Strength and Conditioning Area Open?

Yes, it is. There is a maximum capacity of 8 people so please keep workouts to a maximum of 20 mins and
spray/wipe down all equipment you use before and after.

Are you running any supervised/instructed sessions for adults or children?
